SENIOR SECURITY ENGINEER

As a Senior Security Engineer in the Applications Identity and Access Management team, you'll be tasked with improving the security of application-to-application use cases across the Swiss Re group.

About the team   The Applications IAM team lives for securing access and secrets management of technical identities all across the Swiss Re group's IT eco-systems, including the public cloud.
We are part of the CSOs Product and Engineering Unit – as a whole, we are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk, and compliance.
We define and advance the company's information security strategy.
We are looking for a creative subject-matter expert, hungry to tackle interesting security challenges and keen to learn and collaborate with a highly specialized team.
In your role, you will… Search for and assess risks related to authentication and authorization in application-to-application use cases across our organization (incl.
threat modeling).
Propose, design and prototype new solutions to reduce these risks.
Contribute to driving group wide initiatives aiming at the timely mitigation of these risks.
document, explain solutions to reducing risks, propose risk reduction plans and strategies, push and support all actors involved.
What we need from you A formal education in computer science or in a closely related subject.
Broad experience of IT in an enterprise context (incl.
enterprise-wide deployment of technologies, working with agile frameworks, etc).
A solid background in IT-security and in-depth technical knowledge as well as experience in Identity & Access Management.
A solid experience in designing and implementing systems (incl.
coding skills) You get things done quickly and work in a structured way You are.
good at presenting issues and solutions to technical and managerial audiences.
