Your place in the team  Would you like to work on the Next Generation BI Platform and participate in the design, build and implementation phase of scalable BI and Big Data applications? Whether you are an experienced Data Engineer, or a software engineer who wants to become one, we can provide you with the challenge to work on interesting tasks, coding databases and find out the data strategies of the company.
Our BI team is looking for talented and passionate Data Engineers with strong technical and business systems backgrounds.
You will be involved in the following tasks   •Opportunity to create advanced data solutions from the ground up •Participates in every aspect of development and implementation •Design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes •Design and develop interfaces between the source and BI systems  •Design and develop data mappings and ETL scripts  •Design and develop Vodafone Azure PowerBI & Google Looker infrastructure •Responsible for maintaining infrastructure to connect Google Cloud with Azure PowerBI & Google Looker •Design and maintain an optimized report architecture in Vodafone with PowerBI & Google Looker •Constantly monitoring and optimize PowerBI & Looker infrastructure and make suggestions for report optimization for Vodafone Data Team •Create and maintain technical documentation, contribute to manuals and documentation for the users •Design and maintain PowerBI Gateways •Estimate the development effort by requirements and projects •Work in teams using various development methodologies – agile (SCRUM), waterfall.
•Ensure compliance with Vodafone policies and procedures We are looking for you if you have  •IT specific university degree OR developer qualification •5+ year experience including Data Engineering, Database Engineering, within with a technology company •Strong data architecture, data integration and data manipulation experience •Experience in Azure PowerBI environment •Experience in multi cloud reporting environment is a plus •Experience with Google Looker is a plus •Experience designing and operating large Data Warehouses •Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and database modelling •Experience working on projects within the cloud ideally AWS or GCP •Good knowledge of English both spoken and written •Track record for quickly learning new technologies  What we offer    •Cafeteria package & annual bonus   •Laptop & mobile phone (with unlimited voice and data tariff package)   •Hybrid way of working (working from home / from the office)  •Medicover Health Insurance  •Wellbeing program in the topics of sport, nutrition, relax and help (spiritual support)   •4 paid days leave/year for charity projects   •Other discounts (e.
