What you’ll do The candidate will be responsible for deep diving into the various aspects of the telecommunications’ regulations (national legislation & regulation, European regulation) and liaise with interdepartmental teams to ensure the regulatory compliance of the company and the facilitation of regulatory initiatives of material strategic scope.
The candidate will need to work closely with Legal, Technical teams and Commercial teams as well as with the external environment (regulatory Authorities and any other relevant stakeholder).
Moreover, the candidate will support the Company’s initiatives in developing regulatory strategies/framework in accordance with related company requirements in order to meet the commercial goals, to prepare regulatory submissions in accordance with the telecom policies/regulation and applicable laws and support regulatory team for reporting and audit processes.
Key Accountabilities •    Interact with the NRA and any other relevant stakeholder to ensure Company’s position and safeguard regulatory compliance.
•    Coordinate and support licencing procedure related to mobile base stations  •    Liaise with internal stakeholders to guide, identify problems, areas of improvement and propose solutions in order to create innovative and challenging products and avoid/mitigate risks, in line with Vodafone Greece’s policy objectives  •    Promote proper regulatory framework and ensure fair terms and compliance of digital solutions.
•    Ensure the Company's regulatory & licencing compliance and mitigate any relevant risks  •    Represent Vodafone Greece in front of Regulatory Authorities and external stakeholders and create sustainable/credible relationship with Local Authorities and any other relevant stakeholder.
•    Work with Vodafone Global External Affairs Teams to form a common position for upcoming regulations in Greece and to minimise effects of any local regulations to Vodafone Group businesses.
Who you are •    Previous experience in telecommunications or other strong regulated market will be considered as a strong asset •    Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or other in the area of telecommunications or related discipline •    High level written skills both in Greek and in English  •    Team spirit and strong project management skills (ability to gather and evaluate input from various departments inside and outside Vodafone) •    Strong analytical skills  Not a perfect fit?
