About the role.
As a Senior Product Owner – Sportsbook Back End, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team with a strong focus on internal tools, platform scalability, and systems integration.
This is a high-impact, technically oriented role where you’ll define and drive backend product strategy, working closely with engineering, architecture, and UX to deliver high-performing internal solutions.
Your work will directly support operations, improve efficiency, and enhance cross-functional collaboration across the platform.

Responsibilities Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for backend services, aligning with business objectives and stakeholder needs Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Technical Leads, and Engineering teams to develop and refine scalable, high-performance technical solutions Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria Lead agile ceremonies, ensuring smooth execution and continuous improvement of team delivery Work closely with other Product Owners and designers to align product development across verticals and define optimal solutions Collaborate with UX teams to support the design and optimization of user journeys for internal users, ensuring efficient operational workflows Monitor product KPIs and performance metrics, using data to inform decisions and prioritization Identify risks, manage dependencies, and proactively remove blockers across teams Ensure alignment with strategic goals through ongoing communication with the Head of Product and other stakeholders Requirements 4+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably with backend platforms and service-oriented architectures Solid technical understanding of backend systems and microservices architectures Familiarity with API management, event-driven systems, and real-time data streaming Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX, engineering, QA, and architecture Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Data-driven mindset with a clear focus on outcomes and user value Exceptional communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.
., Jira, Confluence) Desirable Experience within the Sportsbook or broader iGaming industry Understanding sportsbook trading operations, feeds integration, betting logic, and internal tools/back-office processes What's in it for you Care.
