SENIOR MANAGER, STRATEGIC LOGISTICS

Job Description.
The Senior Logistics Sourcing Manager will develop internal partnerships with sales, planning, program management and logistics operations teams in order to develop and implement logistics strategies to achieve growth and sustainability targets for the European region.
He will manage activities relating to the development of national and international logistics solutions, including the creation of regional strategies, selection and qualification of suppliers, preparation of bids, implementation of policies and guidelines, managing the physical and financial resources involved, in order to ensure that the delivery of materials and/or products to customers is met within the pre-established deadlines, quality and costs.
Its activities include.

Defining the strategy for carrying out national and international logistics operations, in compliance with the internal and customs legislation in force, 2.
Monitoring the operationalization of the strategy, identifying, recommending and/or taking corrective action in order to effectively provide the necessary logistics services.

Leading freight contracts, costs and capacity negotiations for all logistics-related services, including sea and air freight, land transportation, warehousing, transloading, customs clearance, etc.

Conduct negotiations and manage RFPs for the different logistics services in order to obtain the best long-term conditions that meet the company's needs.

Carrying out individual quotations for single events in order to obtain the most competitive condition for the company 6.
Monitoring and evaluating the planned targets against those achieved, implementing action plans to match the capacity provided with the demand signaled by sales and to ensure customer service with quality, deadlines and profitability.

Strive for excellence in logistics operations, monitoring and evaluating the performance of suppliers, productivity and costs and taking and/or recommending the necessary preventive and/or corrective actions.

Developing and maintaining a network of suppliers and partners (freight forwarders, insurance companies, warehouses, customs brokers, carriers and various service providers) in line with the company's strategies, 9.
Guaranteeing contracted deadlines and costs, as well as the performance of outsourced logistics services, within quality standards and corporate regulations, monitored by appropriate indicators.

Monitoring the process of customer audits, external and internal audits relating to his area.
11.
Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on the quality indicators (KPIs) relating to your area.
12.
Identifying and recommending new technologies and/or processes applied to the area for which they are responsible, through studies, updates and participation in groups of business entities and/or the area.
13.
Maintain relationships, conduct quarterly business reviews and ensure active performance measurement of all service providers.
14.
Being the escalation point for the Logistics Operations team on all matters relating to providers performance.
