What about the role? The Senior Integration Developer will be a key leader in the IT development team and will play a critical role in the evolution of clients's platform, influencing the platform's architecture and contributing to its innovation, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technology.
In this role, you will support the company by converting business requirements to technical specifications, collaborating with design and development teams, and managing the development of a scalable, reliable, and efficient integration layer.
As the Senior Integration Developer, you will also oversee and guide a team of Integration Developers.
Your mission.
The Senior Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the API catalog and the Event Layer of the platform.
In this role, you will.
Lead the design and development of robust integration solutions to connect different systems within the cloud platform, with MuleSoft and Kafka.
Define standards, principles, and processes for integration development.
Develop, implement, and govern high-quality integration solutions using industry-standard protocols and technologies, coupled with appropriate documentation using Confluence.
Ensure the smooth flow of data between disparate systems, minimizing latency and maximizing efficiency.
Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to implement end-to-end integration processes.
Provide technical expertise in integrating third-party APIs and services.
Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks.
Implement best practices for security, error handling, logging, and monitoring with integration solutions.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data exchange.
Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
Debug developments and deploy fixes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and provide technical solutions.
Contribute to the architectural decisions of the platform, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Work in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality software against tight schedules.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers.
Create comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, deployment guides, and operational manuals.
Requisitos What we expect from you.
5+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in Integration development.
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven track record of successfully implementing complex integration solutions.
Proficiency in integration and event technologies such as MuleSoft (Kafka would be of added value).
In-depth understanding of integration patterns, APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven architecture.
Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling.
Experience in guiding teams in an agile development environment.
Understanding of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in agile teams with version control tools, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
