to create amazing gaming experiences and bring fun to everyone! We’re looking for a Senior Game Data Analys t to join our Analytics team.
In this role, you'll analyze player behavior, collaborate with game teams, and help improve our games by driving retention and user conversion.
Using quantitative analysis, data science, statistics, and programming, you’ll generate insights that make a real impact at Socialpoint.
To succeed, you’ll need to learn quickly, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work closely with both analytics and game teams.
What will you do in Socialpoint? Work with the game development teams to provide insights into user behavior and answer key business questions, turning our vast amount of data into actionable insights and transferable learnings.
Visualize and communicate the results of your analysis to senior stakeholders, making data driven recommendations that support key decisions.
Design and analyze A/B tests and other causal impact analysis to assess the impact of new features and changes.
Continuously educate stakeholders on data literacy and analytics best practices, to ensure they are empowered and autonomous to run analytically correct analysis.
Occasionally participate in advanced analytics projects, teaming up with other game data scientists & analysts to develop data tools and products.
Requirements 5-7 years experience applying analytics to answer business questions and mine for insights that drive value.
Highly proficient in SQL as well as Python for data exploratory analysis.
Experience with A/B testing.
Gaming industry experience.
Strong analytical skills in applied statistics.
Prior experience with bayesian statistics is a plus.
Experienced creating dashboards and visualizing findings with a front-end visualization tool like Tableau or Looker.
A fast learner, highly meticulous and proactive individual.
Pragmatic, you know how to balance short term and long term deliverables.
A team player, you establish effective relationships to work with others for the win.
