Introduction to Role.
Join our Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit (BBU) as a Sr Director of Operational Excellence.
This role plays a critical part in shaping the capabilities needed for future success and ensuring these capabilities are developed across BBU markets/functions.
Our vision for Global Commercial Excellence is to support our BBU Ambition with a relentless focus on securing pre-launch excellence, future-proofing BBU with elevated world-class capabilities, and enabling practice change at scale.
Accountabilities.
As the Sr Director of Commercial Operational Excellence, you will be responsible for setting the Vision for Comm Ops to drive the uplift of the core capability across commercial teams and impact our revenue targets.
You will research and explore modern, innovative models in resource deployment from external sources to modernize AZ capability.
You will also deliver the new Framework for Resource Allocation Field + Digital, including a comprehensive roll out plan that covers Marketing, IBEX/SFE, and sets clarity around the standards required to drive performance with resource allocation.
Essential Skills/Experience.
- Experience managing operational excellence.
SFE, S&T, Incentives, Field deployment management.
- Knowledge of Digital channels management and the AZ Omnichannel initiatives to reshape the current commercial model.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms and associated tools and processes.
- Ample knowledge of core BBU brands commercial strategy.
- Experience in an innovative, cross-functional business climate.
- Ability to communicate and influence across different levels of the organization.
- Business analytical mindset.
ability to understand and shape rigorous data analyses while keeping a concise narrative that drives action in a simple manner.
Desirable Skills/Experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
