SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER

Senior RTL Design EngineerWe are working with a leading AI semiconductor group who are creating custom computer hardware components for artificial intelligence applications. With a focus on using RISC-V technologies, the company allows its customers to create custom AI processing CPUs for a wide range of applications. In this role will you will be responsible for creating efficient, functional, and well-documented digital circuits that form the building blocks of the company's RISC-V platforms. This is a permanent role based onsite with the team in Barcelona, the team is able to relocate people from around the globe.Responsibilities for this role:RTL Coding: Writing efficient and clear RTL code based on architectural specifications and design documents.Microarchitecture Development: Defining and implementing the internal structure and logic of the digital circuit.Interface Design: Creating well-defined interfaces for communication between different components of the design.Technical Documentation: Writing clear and concise documentation that explains the RTL code, functionality, and design decisions.Collaboration: Working closely with other engineers, including design, verification, and layout engineers, to ensure a smooth development process.Requirements for this role:Solid experience (2+ years) in RTL design and development. More experience may be required for senior positions.Expert knowledge of Hardware Description Languages (HDLs) like Verilog and SystemVerilog.Strong understanding of digital design concepts, including logic gates, finite state machines (FSMs), and combinational and sequential circuits.Experience with synthesis tools and scripting for converting RTL code into a netlist.Strong English communication skills (professional level)Keywords: RTL / Microarchitecture / CPU / Processor / RISC-V / Verilog / SystemVerilog / Hardware / Digital Design / Barcelona / SpainBy applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
