Ibancar's creative and disciplined business model, along with its intelligent and innovative approach, is a game-changer for online lending.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for an Senior Accounting Manager based in Málaga. The role will involve day-to-day tasks such as managing financial statements, performing analytical tasks, processing journal entries, overseeing group finance operations, and managing a small team across subsidiaries to produce consolidated and local accounts. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.This position covers the following responsibilities:Manage a team of 3 internal accountants: 2 in Malaga and 1 in Mexico plus an external accountant in the UKSupervise the general ledger accounting (payroll, suppliers, invoicing, banks, tax...)Control the month end process generating financial statements (P&L, CF, and BS)Particular focus will be on cash flow reporting (definition of cash and non cash items)Supervise and be involved in the preparation of monthly and annual financials in accordance with Spanish / Mexican / UK GAAPDeliver monthly and annual consolidated accounts with the help of the accountants in Mexico and UKHelp improve accounting procedures and processes through automationEnsure correct reporting and reconciliation of the loan book and cash positionBe responsible for liaison with our external financial auditors and investorsBe a sparring partner for all reporting topics through all areas of the businessThe Finance team works on challenging and complex projects with direct impact on the bottom line.
