REGIONAL MANAGER – ELECTRICITY (GERMANY)

Our client, a leading electricity subsidiary is part of a renowned international construction group.
Specializing in the design, construction, and maintenance of energy infrastructure—including power generation, transmission, and distribution systems—the company has a history of delivering large-scale, high-complexity projects that drive the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future in international markets.
The German subsidiary is managing mainly Overhead Line Transmission projects due to the growth of the business, our client is looking for a  Country Manager.
A hands-on  Project Manager  to lead and ultimately be responsible for the management and economic results of the  German market.
Mission.
Responsible for overseeing operations, from initial development and planning to the delivery execution of complex HV Transmission projects in Germany & The Netherlands, ensuring that project objectives are met in terms of timelines, quality, budget, and safety standards.
Monitor and oversee projects, clients, and sales proposals to boost customer satisfaction.
Focusing in the area of Baden-Württemberg, as there are several O&M operations already running with a signed engineering contract to be started in May .
Responsibilities.
· Identify risks, resolve conflicts, and make swift, data-driven decisions to keep projects on track while adhering to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
· Monitor project performance, manage costs, and present progress and financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Spain and other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of sales activities.
Client Relationship & Operations.
You will be the one to develop Operations and to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring alignment with project goals and client satisfaction (as the main liaison).
You will represent the company for external stakeholders.
Suppliers / Subcontractors, Clients, Partners & both Public & Private organizations in both Germany & The Netherlands.
Approve and validate bids/tenders/purchases for the German branch (and Dutch market).
Team Management.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (engineers, technicians, subcontractors), facilitating effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
Grow the team from 5 people to 30 people.
Reporting.
As the ultimate responsible for the P&L, you will analyze, manage, and report the monthly closing for the branch.
Directly reporting to the Managing Director of the Electricity Division (Headquarters based in Spain).
Requirements.
· Experience.
Hands-on Project Manager / Construction Manager (with full P&L responsibilities with at least 7 years of extensive management experience -in both EPC and O&M in the Electrical sector (Transmission and Distribution Networks T&D, overhead, underground and submarine Lines or related projects) and knowledge of the German market.
Strong knowledge of HSE and industry-specific safety regulations · Soft Skills.
Proactive and hands-on professional, one of those who takes initiative and who can work with autonomy as well as lead boosting a collaborative environment.
· Languages & Market Knowledge.
Native/Bilingual German.
Fluent English.
Knowledge of German regulations, contracting practices, and energy standards will be essential.
· Willingness to travel within Germany & The Netherlands and to visit HQs in Spain.
