A global leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative protection solutions to protect against natural hazards (rockfall, landslides, avalanches, erosion, etc) is hiring theProject Manager Geotechnical Engineer (m/f)The company with a history of over 25 years in Spain is in a process of expansion.. For this reason the company needs to hire a Project Manager for the Region Mediterráneo.Key Responsibilities: S/he will be responsible for the territory of the Mediterráneo as well as for projects and clients in the Iberian Peninsula.S/he will be responsible for the distribution of the entire product, solutions and service portfolio in the assigned territory to all relevant markets.S/he will conduct targeted visits to all stakeholders (investors & operators, consultants, contractors, public administrations, etc.)S/he will participate in specialized conferences and congresses (national and international) and attend to specialized fairs and giving technical presentations.S/he will provide technical consultations to customers, designers and contractors.S/he will prepare the customer orders technically, the project specific drawings and the delivery dates.S/he will manage the projects in the Mediterranean region and performs onsite support for product and service implementation.Requirements:We are looking for a geologist geotechnical engineer, fluent in English and Spanish and with experience in:5-10 years experience as Project Manager in the Civil Engineering projects / preferably in the protection against Natural HazardsStudies in Engineering, Geotechnics or Geology50% of travellingFluent in English and SpanishExperience working in projects on-site and outdoorsThe ideal candidate should:Understand business of Natural Hazards. S/he could eventually have background in the protection and prevention of Natural Hazards.Have experience in Civil Engineering projectsExperience in engineering project managementPassion of working outdoors.
