across Mobile Access, Fixed Access and Access TX / 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) in line with the network infrastructure strategy.
The Network Deployment Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures to deploy and deliver network equipment and services and conduct performance assessments and optimisation.
Typically reports to the Network Deployment Manager.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the telecommunications field, demonstrating a strong background in data communications with a clear understanding of technologies and systems used, this should include some of the following.
MPLS, SDWAN, SDN, ATM/ADSL, PDH/SDH, Cisco Routers & Switches, MLPPP, Ethernet, configuring Cisco, Alcatel, Nokia and Juniper Network devices.
Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols & services (TCP/UDP, IPSec, MPLS, Internet, SNMP, DNS, Radius/TACACS+, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, L2/L3 VPN & Netflow) and Transmission fundamentals Understanding of MPLS VPN fundamentals and their application within a Service Provider environment, including the application of QoS mechanisms  Experience of provisioning tools, network management applications and network inventories (eg.
Cramer) and IP platforms  Knowledge of multi-vendor router and firewall configuration• Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) qualification / relevant experience.

Valid Cisco Certified Professional qualification (CCNP) • Preferable.
