PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRINCIPAL - POWERBI DATA VISUALIZATION

Job Description Summary.
Under limited supervision, responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex and cross-functional project-oriented work efforts.
Frequently leads large project efforts, including taking responsibility for issue resolution across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Assists in the development of business cases, financial analysis, and all aspects of costing and managing project financials.
Drafts and reviews documentation in compliance with the FedEx global development process, and ensures all project deliverables are in compliance with FedEx global development process.
Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the department/organization.
Provides mentoring for the development of those in less senior positions.
Job Specific Information.
This role provides Portfolio-level support in delivering on critical DRIVE initiatives for the enterprise by turning data into actionable insights primarily through PowerBI reporting.
Partners with key stakeholders to understand business context and identify the data needed to design develop and deploy scorecards, KPIs and reports turning data into actionable insights Owns the full lifecycle of dashboard development from requirements gathering, data scoping and acquisition to development, QA and launch support Ensures the quality, accuracy, and security of data and reports, and troubleshoot any issues or problems.
Monitors and evaluates the performance and usage of data analytics solutions and provide recommendations for improvement and optimization.
Leverages UX/Customer Driven Design to develop requirements based on user journeys Manages projects effectively delivering outcomes on time Supports PowerBI Users across the enterprise through shared learning and benchmarking Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus.
Expert in building scalable, robust dashboards using PowerBI Ability to manage multiple processes and projects simultaneously with high quality Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concrete requirements •Ability to translate complex data sets into clean, simple visuals for quick consumption Excellent listening, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and documentation skills Experience with the SAFe operating model Experience with Financial dashboards and reporting Strong understanding of data management and best practices Experience with UX/Customer Driven/Human Centered Design Familiarity with FedEx brand standards Flexibility to respond quickly to changing business objectives Self-starter with a high degree of independent leadership.
Demonstrated experience in exhibiting flexibility and creativity in solving problems to achieve shared outcomes Ability to navigate skillfully and creatively organizational and/or resource constraints.

Minimum Qualifications.
Bachelor's Degree, in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment.
