About the Role Welcome to the dynamic role of Product Manager, where your focus on information retrieval and machine learning development is central to the success of our latest research assistant product offering.
As a member of the product team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the intricate relationship between our business objectives and the technical intricacies of our machine infrastructure and capabilities.
Your responsibilities will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing to the refinement and enhancement of our suite of machine learning models and capabilities that power our assistant products.
In this role, you will dive into the problem space of large scale information retrieval and ML, gaining exposure to the complexities that underpin the delivery of our innovative research assistant.
Your responsibilities include gathering and defining product requirements with an emphasis on machine learning capabilities, contributing to the prioritization of features, and collaborating with development teams to bring these features to life.
As a Product Manager, you will be the link between user needs and technical implementation, actively participating in the entire product lifecycle.
Your role is integral to our success, as the decisions and contributions you make will directly impact the functionality and performance of our product.
Working in tandem with more experienced team members, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow, gaining hands-on experience in translating user feedback into actionable improvements.

You will report directly to our VP of Product and will interact with various departments on a daily basis including clients, operations, engineering, QA, design teams, and internal stakeholders.

What you Need to Succeed Understanding of machine learning concepts and technologies.
Understanding of statistics and comfort working with large structured & unstructured datasets.
Working knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) as an information retrieval framework.
Experience working with LLMs and familiarity with prompt engineering best practices.
Proficient in Python with a solid understanding of JSON, encompassing data manipulation, parsing, schema, and API integration.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Organizational skills for product backlog management.
Proactive problem-solving approach.
User-centric mindset translating needs into requirements.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Detail-oriented in documentation and product management.
Your Responsibilities Providing support to the Product Management team by creating tasks, mockups, feature evaluation, sample demo notebooks creation and reports for analysis Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies as the product owner Assisting in cross-functional scheduling and communication with development, design, operations, business development Ensuring that all workflows, processes, changes, data manipulations, etc.
