THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED IN ANY EMEA HUB LOCATION   About the role The EMEA Product Manager (EMEA PM) is the owner of the Erectile Restoration portfolio, namely our penile prosthesis product lines (inflatable and malleable).
The EMEA Product Manager is responsible for driving business growth through the creation of a strategic plan as well as executing in alignment to the annual marketing objectives, ensuring coordination with Country Management and the Global team.
In addition to traditional clinical marketing, this role is accountable for translating value messages into best-in-class, tailored commercial programs through work with commercial functions and Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA), Medical Education, Training and Marketing Communications.
They will also collaborate on the topic of market development and patient activation.
The EMEA Product Manager for Erectile Restoration will sit within the EMEA Prosthetic Urology Franchise Team, therefore working closely with the Continence Product Manager.
This position requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to inspire cross functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities   Marketing and Strategic Planning (Strat Plan).
Lead the strategic planning efforts for Erectile Restoration across existing and new markets through situational analysis, macro, and micro factors, identifying barriers and drivers, and exploring new opportunities in line with franchise strategies and global guidelines to drive growth.
Business Planning (AOP).
Drive Annual Operating Plans and lead execution of AOP (budgets/ resources/ activities etc.) for Erectile Restoration across EMEA   Define franchise marketing/strategic priorities and key activities for the preceding AOP to ensure alignment across functions and countries.
Ensure completion on time and on budget for agreed marketing priorities/activities   Drive activities that support achievement of franchise sales budget; Control and management of franchise marketing OPEX; demand forecasting, field backorders; Comply with legal requirements; Drive consistent marketing process; Facilitate and initiate cross franchise/department divisional communication; Coordinate and work with Regulatory/Clinical to ensure to timely product launches.
Manage and develop the marketing and sales training of the distributors ensuring the dissemination of marketing materials and support in market sales/marketing activities   Coordinate and work with other divisions/franchises/cluster managers to achieve the company goals, including new market initiatives, new technologies, KOLs, GPOs, and risk management.
Partner closely with Medical Education to highlight educational programs needs and support continuous development, with particular focus on Emerging Implanters Collaborate with Omnichannel team to develop and execute OMC strategy, including metrics to evaluate the impact.
Collaborate with Patient Activation team to drive patient awareness and referral engagement Work in partnership with local HEMA experts to ensure appropriate positioning of BSC products in local / national treatment algorithms and to secure reimbursement Lead execution of market analysis activities (Market research, identification of new opportunities, technology advancement competitors etc.) to generate insights and support development of marketing strategies and feed back into the EMEA and Global franchise Marketing.
Product Launch Excellence.
Lead and monitor the execution of product centric plans (like new product launches etc.); oversee coordination with operations team to manage the supply chain for products, review monthly forecasts, backorders & plan inventory transitions for new products, track portfolio performance and ensure accurate and timely reporting across the region for own franchise   Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders/ KOLs/ economic buyers and influencers as relevant to domain; participate in conferences/ symposiums, guide programme design to develop advocates to communicate key company messages to the medical community; network with counterparts in BSC global to drive regional objectives   Liaise with regional & in country sales leadership to align sales and marketing objectives; drive sales team capability needs assessment and guide programs for capability building on products and clinical messaging; align with local marcomms and global to identify marketing collateral and disseminate them in country to ensure achievement of franchise marketing objectives and sales support as required.
Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific; As interface to Customer and Sales Organization has direct responsibility to facilitate, share documents and process to identify, notify and ensure any complaints or problems are addressed, thereby demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviors; Responsible to facilitate and champion the quality requirements and the message of compliance to internal and external customers for all events and campaigns.
Who we're looking for; Qualified with a Bachelor degree, with a minimum of 2 years experience in the Medical Device industry Travel requirement (50%) Sales experience / discipline in related field (Medical Device) is an advantage   Good clinical acumen.
Erectile Restoration knowledge is desirable Experience in patient and referrer strategies is desirable Very good analytical, creative and out of the box thinking skills are desirable Fluent in speaking and writing in English An additional European language is a plus.
