PRODUCT INSIGHTS DATA ANALYST

At Oxigent Technologies we are looking for a Product Data Analyst to join a leading International Digital Hub in providing solutions for a world leader retail company, located in the centre of Barcelona.This key role will be centered around a specific product and will require an individual who is confident in making data-driven decisions autonomously, with the backing of a knowledgeable and collaborative team. This role will involve a balance of in-depth data analysis, data quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration, all in service of our mission to continuously improve the products.We seek individuals who are meticulous, capable problem-solvers and possess a strong aptitude for data analysis. If you are excited by the prospect of uncovering trends in large datasets and translating data-driven insights into actionable strategies, we would be delighted to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesAct as a data referent for a designated product within an agile squad, leading all data-related activities and decisions.Perform comprehensive data analysis, leveraging large datasets to generate actionable insights that will shape product development and improvements.Ensure the quality and consistency of product-related datasets within our data ecosystem, identifying areas for continual improvement.Develop, implement, and manage efficient data pipelines to support data extraction and analysis, enhancing the quality of insights for both product development and customer experience.Champion a culture of data-informed decision-making within the squad and the wider organization, educating team members on the benefits of a data-focused approach.Essentials:A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.A solid understanding of data structures and data manipulation methodologies.Familiarity with data management tools and their application to both structured and unstructured data.Knowledge of SQL and Python for data extraction and manipulation.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary agile team.Extra Points:Experience with Databricks (Pyspark) and snowflake (SQL) for advanced data manipulation and analysis.Familiarity with Git (Azure DevOps) for version control and development operations.Experience with NoSQL systems and Big Data tools (MongoDB, CosmosDB, HDFS, HBASE …).Practical experience using Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools in agile development.Previous experience in a Cloud environment, preferably Azure.Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow and DBT.Our Stack:DataBricks with PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics.Snowflake and SQL for structured data storage and querying.Visual Studio / PyCharm for code development.Confluence for knowledge management and team collaboration.Azure DevOps for version control and development operations.Airflow and DBT for data orchestration and transformation.PowerBI as dashboarding tool.We offer you:Permanent contract.Salary according to the experience provided (38.000 – 55.000 euros gross per year approx.)International and multicultural environment.Hybrid work model (8 days in office per month but very flexible).Training vouchers.Private medical insurance.Special discounts on fitness and sport facilities.Tax reduction: you will be able to dedicate part of your gross salary to different options such as transport, ticket restaurant, education, kindergarten, and health insurance.¡And many more benefits!
