Procurement and Logistic ManagerAboutOrain is a pioneering SaaS Fintech company revolutionizing the offline micropayments industry with a comprehensive 360º intelligent solution. We are committed to enabling the digitization of payments, enhancing sales point management, and delivering a unique user experience.Scope & ResponsibilitiesWe are currently focused on the Self-Service or Unattended business, like - but not limited to - vending, gas stations, laundromats, EV charging stations, etc. You will work closely with the Sales and Operations teams.Key responsibilities include:Develop and implement procurement strategies to source electronic and industrial components from international suppliers, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and quality.Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for the procurement of materials.Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of components and resolving any issues that may arise.Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offerings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and manufacturing, to align procurement activities with business objectives and production schedules.Oversee the logistics and transportation of materials, coordinating with freight forwarders and carriers to optimize shipping routes and minimize costs.Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.Experience & SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the electronics or fintech industry.Proven track record of negotiating contracts and agreements with international suppliers, particularly those based in China.Skilled at navigating high-pressure environments, maintaining focus and delivering resultsPrevious experience leading a small team is highly desirable.Ability to thrive in a high growth, high-performance startup environment, demonstrating exceptional organization to prioritize tasks effectively amid chaos.Strong leadership potential, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving sales goalsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Adaptability and resilience, with a readiness to embrace and lead through change.Fluent in Spanish and English is a must.Other languages such as Chinese is highly regarded.We’d love to meet with you if you:Are an expert on electronics or payment solutions.Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Independently manage priorities and work autonomously handling tasks with a high level of self-direction.You don't take no for an answer, displaying resilience and a commitment to diligently pursue results, recognizing that this role offers a unique professional opportunity.BenefitsFlexible work arrangements, recognizing the importance of work-life harmony.Meal vouchers and insurance package to support your well-being.Enjoy 25 days of annual leavePositive and collaborative mindsetDynamic environment with huge growth potential
