YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based IT architectures in alignment with the company's transition to a microservices/event-driven model.
Collaborate with Architecture, Development, and Product Management teams to outline technology and architecture roadmaps, steering the evolution towards a cloud-native SaaS solution.
Serve as the 'glue' between business and technology teams, defining requirements and ensuring alignment with overarching architecture goals and principles within an Agile framework.
Mentor fellow fadatians in technology and architecture principles adoption, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Remain at the forefront of technological evolution, guiding software architects, development teams, and professional services teams in adopting new technologies while upholding quality standards expected in an insurance industry SaaS solution.
Engage with stakeholders ranging from C-Level executives to development, architecture, and business teams, both internally and externally with clients, demonstrating excellent communication skills and adaptability to diverse audiences.





WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Core skills:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
Proven experience in system design, architecture, and development.
Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and delivering complex architecture.
Expertise in cloud technologies and programming languages (Java, JavaScript & PL/SQL preferred).
In-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design patterns.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire technical teams.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to make decisions considering both technical and business implications.
Availability to travel.



Preferred skills:

Experience in insurance business and/or insurance tools.
