We're passionate about retail transformation and solving the problem that retailers face every day to help them create more engaging shopping experiences.Mission:The Pre-sales Specialist (Software) will deliver technical consultancy and pre-sales activities while transferring technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills. The successful candidate will assist in all levels of technical account planning and accompany Sales Account Managers on customer meetings.Working with the Toshiba Sales Team, your responsibilities will be varied and include technical input to formal written sales proposals, tender responses and the ability to present and differentiate product offerings at a technical level from the competition, aimed at promoting the (further) integration of the Toshiba ICT products in the business and work processes of the existing customers and prospects.Bearing functional and conceptual responsibility for the solution to the customer/prospect, the ideal candidate will have experience in providing Technical Consultancy Services in a retail environment covering POS hardware & software solutions. Experience in cloud-based technologies would be advantageous. Workplace:Hybrid - Madrid office and homebased - travel to customer sites as required. Key Responsibilities:1. Advise customers on work processes and product choices (30%):Identify the needs of the customer, asking questions in a consultative manner to understand the full picture.Establish agreements during consultation regarding responsibilities and an appropriate time schedule.Making efficient use of available time and resources.Achieving objectives according to schedule.2. Translate customer requirements into workable solutions (40%):Identify and compare similarities with previous issues and solutions.Simplify complex information, extracting broad lines and making new connections.Translate problem and challenge areas into a more comprehensive framework that creates a broader and deeper understanding.Integrating ideas, topics, and observations into clear and actionable insights.Deliver product presentations and demonstrations at all technical and business levels.Articulate requirements clearly for development and product selection.Performing reviews on requirements, functional design and use cases.3. Promote and guide the integration of Toshiba ICT products into the customer's environment (20%):Organise and supervise the user acceptance test. Set up applications for the desired functional operation.Participate in projects as a functional and conceptual consultant.Supervise pilots at customers and thereby supporting the functional functioning of products. 4. Advise and inform external customers and the internal organisation about the functional operation of Toshiba products and solutions (10%):Assess the software functionality and employability for end-customers.Formulate release requirements for the deployment of solutions at customers.Inform the internal/external organisation/customers about the functional usability of Toshiba products and solutions.Inform and delivering Toshiba products and solutions to customers.Keep abreast of retail market trends including product and competitor landscapes.*This is not an exhaustive list, and you may be asked to carry out other activities throughout your employment.What you will bring to the team:Proven Technical Pre-Sales Experience.Excellent written and presentation skills.Proposal and Tender writing experience. Ability to explain and present technical solutions at all levels in both Spanish and English language.
