Our team’s expertise in human insights and cloud technology, gives companies and employees around the world the ability to power confident decisions, for life.With a comprehensive total rewards package, continuing education and training, and tremendous potential with a growing global organization, Alight is the perfect place to put your passion to work.Join our team if you Champion People, want to Grow with Purpose through acting with integrity and if you embody the meaning of Be Alight.Learn more at careers.alight.comPower BI DevOpsMain Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain ongoing commercial operations reportingIdentify root causes of data issues and propose solutionsWork with stakeholders to improve data quality in our existing platformsReport Business results in an accurate and timely mannerModel data and metadata to support ad-hoc and pre-built reportingOwn the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.Drive improvement on data ingestion, transformation and publication to ensure confidence in the systems we build.Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentationGenerate sales forecasts from historic data, using the appropriate methodologies and software to visualize the resultsPerform quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales results and forecasting and suggest actions for improvementAutomate existing MS-Excel reportingCreate customized reports and dashboards in SalesforceSkills required:Fluent in EnglishProven analytical skills (able to perform Trend Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and other statistical analysis)Detail oriented, looking always for 100% accuracy in reportsGood interpersonal skills, proper written and verbal communication skillsMust have a positive attitude to work with Business Leaders and to be able to provide and receive feedback as a key element for continuous improvementProactive, with the ability to work independently (i.e. under little supervision) and driven by project resultsProcess oriented, capable of designing, implementing and improving reporting processesCreative and innovative, oriented to generate new ideas for improvementMust have the ability to handle large amounts of work, focusing on finding solutionsMust have the ability to handle short-notice requests with quick turnarounds with a positive attitudeMust be a well-organized professional (well structured)Must have a good notion of working on a project environment – e.g. with defined timelines, scope and limited resourcesKnowledge and Experience required:Academic background in statistics, computer sciences, business intelligence, industrial engineering or similar3-4 years of experience in designing and maintaining Power BI dashboardsExpert knowledge of Power BI – DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)Expert knowledge of Power BI – Power Query (M)Good working knowledge of data reporting techniquesAdvanced knowledge of MS-ExcelUI/UX design skills are a plusWeb development skills (HTML, Javascript, CSS, C#, Java, PHP, Ruby) are a plusGood working knowledge of Tableau is a plusExperience with Microsoft PowerApps is a plusExperience with Microsoft Power Automate is a plusPrevious business environment experience is a plusPrevious experience working with databases is a plusKnowledge and/or work experience with Salesforce.com is desiredBy applying for a position with Alight, you understand that, should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with Alight’s employment policies.
