Tareas
This project will be part of an international consortium of five research groups focused on the investigation of new drugs for the treatment of brain cancer. The objective will be the synthesis and characterization of new molecular systems that overcome the efficiency of the drugs already established by the group and open new research possibilities towards a better treatment of brain cancer.
Requisitos
A degree in Chemistry and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry is a plus. Experience in organic synthesis is a must. Experience in medicinal chemistry, experience in the use of chromatographic techniques (HPLC and column chromatography), as well as experience with characterization techniques such as NMR will be positively valued.
Master's degree in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry or pharmaceutical chemistry.
Candidates must have experience in organic synthesis.

Minimum undergraduate grades above 7.5/10 are preferred.

Candidates must be enthusiastic about science, proactive and communicative (in English). Must be a team player, have an open attitude and great social skills.
Commitment to the project and ability to lead and mentor graduate students when needed.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
1) The PhD position of an initial duration of 1 year, with the possibility of extension until the end of the PhD.
