maybe this is your place!:) Your main mission as a People Advisor is to support the strategic delivery of Iberostar Aruba’s people agenda.
This role plays a key part in enabling business performance through proactive employee support, leadership coaching, policy interpretation, and implementation of strategic HR initiatives.
The People Advisor contributes to building a high-performance culture by aligning employee experience with organizational values, business goals, and sustainable hospitality practices.
As a People Advisor, What will your day-to-day work be like?.
Strategic Purpose.
-To act as an enabler of operational services by embedding HR strategies into day-to-day practices, supporting people development, driving engagement, and ensuring that the HR function adds measurable value to the business.
Strategic Focus Areas.
-People experience and engagement -Organizational alignment with HR strategy -Advisory support for people leaders -Change enablement and cultural stewardship Key Strategic Responsibilities.
-Act as a strategic advisor to team leaders and supervisors, ensuring HR policies are applied to support fair, consistent, and effective people management.
-Champion employee engagement by identifying workforce trends, facilitating feedback mechanisms, and recommending actions that improve retention and morale.
-Support the implementation of strategic HR initiatives, including performance management, talent development, succession planning, and diversity & inclusion efforts.
-Collaborate with the (global) HR Business Partner to align operational HR processes with broader organizational goals.
-Facilitate meaningful onboarding and offboarding conversations to inform strategic decision-making through employee insights.
-Serve as a cultural ambassador by reinforcing Iberostar’s values and sustainable hospitality commitments in every people-related interaction.
-Manage low to medium-complexity employee relations cases, focusing on resolution, documentation, and learning.
-Ensure accurate people data is maintained to support data-driven decision-making across the business.
-Support change management efforts by advising managers on communication, engagement, and feedback loops.
Requisitos Who is the ideal person for this position?.
Education.
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field.
Experience.
- 3 to 5 years in an HR advisory, business partner, or generalist role, preferably in hospitality or service-driven environments.
Skills.
-Strong understanding of HR strategy, organizational behavior, and labor legislation in Aruba.
-Fluency in English; Spanish or Papiamento is highly advantageous.
-Experience working with HRIS and HR analytics tools.
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, influence without authority, and maintain confidentiality.
