A lot has changed since Alfred Nobel started the business but some things haven´t changed: our dedication to our people to achieve excellence in what we do.SummaryIntegrate and promote the OH&S management system at all hierarchical levels, including the obligation to include prevention as the first and main issue in any activity or decision, with the objective to realize zero accidents or incidents in the workplace.FunctionsPromote the OH&S Policy and the guidelines which derive from it, considering them in the corresponding Prevention Annual Activities Plan of the workplace.Assure compliance of OH&S regulations and procedures at all levels of the workplace.Develop the OH&S management system in the workplace and ensure that it adjusts to current legislation, keeping records of the different activities.Ensure that the content of the procedures relating to the OH&S management system are achievable and measurable over time.Supervise, coordinate and participate in the definition of risks in the workplace to ensure their elimination or control.Promote and facilitate to the Factory Manager/Country or CE Manager all the necessary support and information related to the Prevention and Occupational Health and Safety management system that helps to achieve the safety objectives.Manage and keep a fluent communication with Trade Unions on the Risk Prevention and Occupational Health and Safety management system in the workplace.Maintain and update the skills of the employees (managers, supervisors and operators) in the workplace with regard to Risk Prevention and Occupational Health and Safety.This job definition contents the main duties and responsibilities but the employee could meet other tasks as may be assigned by his/her superior at the same level of competence and/or responsibility.Comply with MAXAM Safety, Quality, Environment & Security Policy.Comply with MAXAM Policies, procedures and processes.Education/QualificationsUniversity degree (Chemical or Industrial Engineering, Physics).Master’s degree in OH&S.Professional Experience3 to 5 years experience in OH&S in Industrial companies or Prevention Services.English B2 or preferred C1Knowledge in OHSAS 18001:2007.
