Python developer (Odoo)Barcelona, SpainSom IT Cooperatiu is a second-degree cooperative that aims to be a referent in the design of business processes and the development of IT tools within the social economy.It is a project promoted by the cooperatives Som Mobilitat, Som Connexió and Finances Ètiques Foundation.We are looking for people with an entrepreneurial mindset who want to use their talents to make the world a better place. We want to build IT tools that help social economy projects scale up. We are committed to free software and working together with other entities and cooperatives, with the aim to become a tool for change.Would you like to join us?We are looking for a Python programmer with strong experience in the ERP domain (ideally Odoo).Main tasksDesign and build modules within the ERP OdooMaintenance of the developed codeIntegration between the ERP and third party systemsProvide technical support to ERP implementationsTechnologiespythonodoopostgresqlgitansibledockerWhat are we looking for?Focus on bringing value to the usersExperience and solid foundation in object-oriented programmingExperience developing web applications with open source frameworks in PythonFamiliarity with Unix/Linux command lineKnowledge of other programming languages will be valuedExperience in the design and execution of unit and integration testsConfidence with Git and Git-based development workflowsWe will also valueGood communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHaving contributed to Open Source projectsInterest in improving the ecosystem of the social economyIntermediate command of the English languageWorking conditionsFull time (37,5 hours per week)Remuneration (according to experience): €30,000 - €40,000 gross per yearFlexible scheduleHybrid job with offices in Barcelona or fully remote for senior profilesJoin us by sending your CV and motivation letter to: info@somit.coop
