MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Objective.
Responsible for process control according to the company's key metrics, development and selection of machinery suppliers, facilities and new project start-ups, continuous improvement, implementation of BorgWarner's Production System, production cost reduction projects, personnel development and training.
Plans, organizes and directs manufacturing, quality and production engineering to meet the company's objectives.
It is responsible for general management, coordination, evaluation and continuous improvement of production.
Develops and executes world-class manufacturing strategies to achieve operational excellence.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
It is responsible for the general layout of the plant, as well as the accommodation and rearrangement of current lines and new projects considered to be installed in the plant, is responsible for allocating spaces in the plant for the performance of additional and special activities of other departments RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the successful execution of a lean manufacturing business, which requires a strong continuous improvement of product manufacturing, time and change.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, product profitability and employee safety, morale and development.
Encourage and develop teamwork, cooperation and openness with the empowerment concepts of employees.
Develop manufacturing strategy for selection of suppliers of new machinery, validation, start-up and process control.
Estimate the capital necessary for investment in new projects, for Machinery, Layout, Personnel and Shifts needed.
Ensure the correct starting, validation and official liberation of the client of new projects in time and form.
Participate actively and effectively  in global manufacturing council workshops.
