Job Description The Management Accounting Specialist supports in the delivery of revenue margin accounting, preparing month-end revenue and margin analysis, prepares management comments for monthly Revenue / COS and MOM / YTD movements.
Candidate will have the responsibility to accurately and timely processing of all revenue & cost of sales transactions, analyzing region wise revenue & COS, Region and product wise COS transfers.
All the process controls are effectively maintained and monitored.
He / She should have good understanding of established Revenue margin concepts and procedures and extensive practical experience.
Also, he / she needs to work with RMA team, FBPs and FP&A colleagues and other teams to understand, record, analyze MEC Revenue and COS and prepare / present variances to top management.
Job Responsibility •    Assists, advises and executes processes and activities for Revenue & margin reporting and helps influence the shape and form of reporting formats and commentaries.
•    Uses communication skills to exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical way to support and improve postings and commentaries and assessing their impact; •    Effectively interacts with colleagues - external and internal to get revenue details and understand P&L and BS impacts of entries to be posted and reporting requirements in month-end close on timely manner.
•    Support, prepare and review BS Reconciliations for Revenue accrual / deferral, COS accrual / deferral / prepayments, etc.
•    Performs other job-related duties or Audit/QA related questions, tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
Key Competencies •    Strong technical Revenue & Lease Accounting background including thorough knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), revenue recognition principles, finance lease accounting.
•    Applied thinker – using initiative to overcome challenges.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills, within multiple levels of organization.
•    Ability to rank priorities and manage time efficiently.
•    Ability to identify and clearly specify changes to systems / data / processes.
•    Strong communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders/non-direct reports effectively to implement changes.
•    Telecom industry/technology experience will be prioritized.
Required skills.
Accounting & Financial Analysis Financial Reporting Data Analytics and Insights Stake holder management  Change and Adaptability Collaboration Must have Technical / Professional Qualifications.
•    CA / CMA / MBA or any other professional degree and relevant experience •    Proficient in use of SAP (or similar) •    Proficient in the use of MS Office and associated software India.
