Job Overview Manage a team of Medical Representatives within a designated office, country or region in order to achieve revenue, profit targets and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions \u Manage staff in accordance with organization's policies and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.
\u Approve actions on human resources matters.
\u Conduct on-boarding training for new staff in conjunction with Human Resources and Learning and Development training programs.
\u Ensure that staff have the proper materials, systems access and training to complete job responsibilities.
Provide oversight for the execution of the training plan and mentored training experiences, as applicable.
\u Ensure sufficient level and profile of resource is recruited for each project.
Establish tracking and monitoring systems and provide regular feedback on project progress against business plan.
\u Act as a coach and mentor for Medical Sales Reps.
\u Drive the effectiveness of designated Electronic Territory Management System across the sales force, ensuring required levels of compliance with reporting standards.
\u Manage the partnering process at territory and regional level with customer salesforce where relevant.
\u Ensure production and communication of accurate client charge figures.
\u Monitor\/track Key Performance Indicators and achieve revenue and contribution targets for the region and take appropriate action.
\u Identify quality risks and issues and create appropriate corrective action plans to prevent or correct deficiencies in performance of staff.
\u Ensure the reporting of any identified Adverse Events in line with prevailing process and guidelines.
\u Project a professional impression of the Company and act in accordance with the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry's Code of Practice \u Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications \u Bachelor's Degree Life Science or related field Req \u years' medical sales experience including previous line management experience Req Or \u Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Req \u Good understanding of Pharma Market and related procedures.
\u Understanding and general knowledge of health service at both national and local level in terms of structures and procedures.
\u Knowledge of Secondary Care or Specialist arena \u Build network of relationships of customers and health representatives in the territory and in any relevant specialty segment.
\u Fluency in software operating systems, such as MS Office and customer relationship management systems \u Ability to mentor and train colleagues.
\u Basic management skills.
\u Good verbal and written communication skills.
\u Ability to monitor and plan to meet project objectives.
\u Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
\u Possession of any required industry qualification essential to function as a Medical Representative in the relevant market.
