We are now hiring a Maintenance Electrician (Nights) to join our team! What’s the job? We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join the maintenance team.
We are looking for individuals who have experience in a manufacturing facility with the ability to troubleshoot and repair modern state-of-the-art equipment.
Must communicate effectively with co-workers and work in a team environment.
Individuals must also have a high standard for safety and a background in industrial equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
The schedule for this position is 6 PM – 6 AM, 12hr shifts, 4 days on 4 days off.
Weekend and some holidays will be required but can be flexible.
This position also includes a 25% shift differential in addition to base pay.
Starting pay depends on the level of experience and electrical license currently held.
Essential Functions.
Perform equipment troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and improvements to increase equipment uptime.
Voltages are.
480vac, 208vac, 120vac, 24vdc, 12vdc.
Perform various levels of Electrical Work including bending emt, pulling wire and cable, low-voltage cameras.
Perform electrical maintenance-PMs of all plant equipment, including using infrared camera for hot spot detection.
Control Wiring.
Perform all job requirements in a safe manner and adhere to all SAGE safety rules and policies.
Attend necessary safety and environmental training as scheduled.
Support and recommend safety & environmental improvements and identify hazards.
Excellent troubleshooting & repair skills.
Knowledge and experience with Equipment Lock Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), as well as Arc Flash.
Hands on experience with industrial equipment troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance.
Hands on experience with mechanical maintenance and PM’s, as well as able to work from heights.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good teamwork skills.
Maintain accurate records in the CMMS with regard to inspections and preventative/predictive maintenance and inventory of spare parts, and consumables.
View and interpret North American and European electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and vacuum system drawings and schematics.
Maintain paper and electronic files of equipment manuals, schematics, and other documentation.
Ability to foster a productive positive attitude and work as a team in an urgent environment.
Must be safety conscious and abide by all workplace policies and procedures.
Independently motivated to produce results.
Perform other tasks as required to support production of SageGlass.
Perform all other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

High School Diploma/GED required.
3 years of maintenance experience in an automated production facility is desirable.
Electrical background and prior training required.
PLC experience from troubleshooting to writing ladder logic is a plus.
Journeyman’s or Masters license for the state of MN preferred.
