This role supports the day to day logistics operations and strategy implementation in Europe, is responsible for managing daily operational issues arise in the area of warehousing and transportation in Europe as well as implementing and monitoring logistics related KPIs and drive improvements in terms of service, costs and operational excellence.

Logistics Sourcing Manager (f/m/d), based in any Ardagh location across Europe.

The role reports to our Director Logistics Planning, Ardagh Metal Packaging - Europe and works closely with LRD Transportation Managers and Customer Fulfilment Specialists across Europe.
Tasks, Responsibilities & Accountabilities Develop and implement European category strategy for Logistics services and increase reliability and quality of transportation and warehousing services Responsible for designing, initiating multiple plant based RFQ processes, negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts Implement logistics sourcing strategy and monitor savings and performance against budget Ensure adequate availability of transportation and warehousing supply and required service performance at the right cost (Total Cost of Ownership) Establish a network with internal customers in the sites and other internal departments Cooperating with finance department regarding budgeting and forecasting process and invoice validation Design and implement continuous improvement strategy with suppliers to enhance performance and reduce cost not only by rates but operational improvements Supporting temporary ad-hoc sourcing activities   REQUIREMENTS.
5+ years of experience in international Logistics sourcing (Western-European market) Bachelor degree or equivalent Experience in project management and implementation of new ideas Creativity and drive for change Strategic mindset with strong planning and implementation skills Enhanced internal/external customer focus Being able to operate in a matrix organization - team working and strong influential skills required Experience with applicable specific transportation and labor laws and regulations Professional user of SAP, Excel, Word, Power Point Fluent in English Willingness to travel      Our Vision and Values The people that make up Ardagh Metal Packaging share much more than a strong brand and an excellent reputation.
