What about the role? · Design, develop, and implement Liferay-based solutions.
· Customize and extend Liferay features to meet specific project needs.
· Integrate Liferay portals with other systems and applications with API platforms.
· Define standards, principles, and processes for software development in Liferay.
· Develop high-quality, clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable code for front-end portals, coupled with appropriate documentation using Confluence.
· Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly web interfaces.
· Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks.
· Optimize the performance of Liferay portals for speed and scalability.
· Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
Debug applications and deploy fixes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and provide technical solutions.
· Work in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality software against tight schedules.
Requisitos What we expect from you? 5+ years of experience in software development with 3+ years of Liferay CMS development Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in Liferay development, and proven experience developing and implementing web applications, websites, and marketplace solutions using Liferay framework.
Understanding of Java and JavaScript development and web technologies.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.
s, and the ability to develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
Good understanding of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in agile teams with version control tools, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
Experience in Jira and Confluence.
Nice to have.
Experience with other CMS platforms, knowledge of API development, Spring Boot development, React, Angular, etc.
Liferay certifications.
Prior knowledge and experience in the insurance domain.
Experience working in a global environment, collaborating with multicultural teams across different time zones.
Good project and time management skills.
