2 days office ? ?Flexible working schedule ? ?Fridays and summer intensive shedule (8am to 3pm) ? ?25 working days paid annual leave ? ?Fully paid sick leave (up to 10 days) What about the role? · Design, develop, and implement Liferay-based solutions.
· Customize and extend Liferay features to meet specific project needs.
· Integrate Liferay portals with other systems and applications with API platforms.
· Define standards, principles, and processes for software development in Liferay.
· Develop high-quality, clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable code for front-end portals, coupled with appropriate documentation using Confluence.
· Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly web interfaces.
· Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks.
· Optimize the performance of Liferay portals for speed and scalability.
· Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
Debug applications and deploy fixes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and provide technical solutions.
· Work in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality software against tight schedules.
What we expect from you? · 5+ years of experience in software development with 3+ years of Liferay CMS development · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proficiency in Liferay development, and proven experience developing and implementing web applications, websites, and marketplace solutions using Liferay framework.
· Understanding of Java and JavaScript development and web technologies.
· Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.
s, and the ability to develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
· Good understanding of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in agile teams with version control tools, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
· Experience in Jira and Confluence.
Nice to have.
· Experience with other CMS platforms, knowledge of API development, Spring Boot development, React, Angular, etc.
· Liferay certifications.
· Prior knowledge and experience in the insurance domain.
· Experience working in a global environment, collaborating with multicultural teams across different time zones.
