SpainWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs a Procurement Manager and reporting to the Global Head of Leasing, you will be responsible of setting the business sourcing and supply chain strategies related to new vehicle and aftersales services looking for excellence in product and service quality, cost efficiency and a long term relation with reliable partners that support Santander Consumer Renting growth in all the scoped 15 geographies.
e need someone like you to help us in different fronts, in cooperation with the markets in the scope.
n coordination with the different countries and HQ stakeholders, to define the Target Operational Models, policies and procedures applicable for all the activities related to the procurement of new vehicle, products and service suppliers to what Operational Leasing business should converge in all the targeted geographies.
o drive accountability for successful implementation of Orders & Procurement TOM and recommendations supporting and encouraging local country procurement community to identify and eliminate threats.
o define the policies for the creation, animation & Follow-up of the dealer and garage networks of preferred suppliers.
o launch tenders and pilot international framework agreements with OEMs and other suppliers.
o define the Key indicators to monitor the supplier’s performance during the life of the contract, motivating them to perform as committed, benchmarking and acting catalyst for the sharing and implementation of best practices resulting from specific procurement initiatives within the international community.
o help define the business requirements for the development of our own in-house IT solutions, or to contract with one of the existing third party tools in the market for the management of the contracts and the follow up of the suppliers activity.
o collaborate with all business areas and key persons to ensure clarity on the specifications and match of the products and services purchased to the business needs.
XPERIENCEAt least 8 years of proven experience in managing supply chain / sourcing operations for automotive or operational lease businesses building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
ood connection in OEMS and aftersales providers for this businessEDUCATIONMedium/High degree in Economics/Business or EngineeringSKILLS & KNOWLEDGENegotiation and communications skills, strong target orientation, strategic mindset, innovative propositions, technology orientedHigh level of SWR English and other language valuableLeasing market and product, processes and opportunities to disrupt.
