LEAD UI ARTIST - YAHTZEE WITH BUDDIES

Description Scopely is looking for a Lead UI Artist to join our YAHTZEE with Buddies in Barcelona on a hybrid basis working 2-3 days a week from the hub.

What you will do Our art team in the Barcelona office, is looking for a strong hands-on, tactical leader of day-to-day operations, who drives their team with excellence and helps them grow, providing mentorship and sharing best practices.
Create benchmark UI designs and mockups conceived by your exceptional creativity and implement them into Unity.
Work as one with the UX team to visualize various interface systems in our game and push UI improvement through the roadmap process.
Create efficient and polished visual assets as needed.
Be a strong advocate for UI Design and your team's efforts.
Deliver and implement assets in the right quality, format, and timeframe so all team members are able to access and use them.
Manage all User Interface assets for the game, fully in charge of the maintenance of the User Interface repository.
Create and maintain all UI related documentation.
In a nutshell, bring the UI features from their early stages to the final product What you will need 3+ years experience with casual games Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Figma and art asset implementation in unity.
Attention to Detail.
The UI Lead must have a keen eye for detail and be able to review and approve all UI assets to ensure that they comply with the design and UX requirements while matching the quality standards.
Strong Design Skills.
The UI Lead must have strong design skills and be able to create UI assets that are visually appealing, easy to use, whilst maintaining consistency across the game.
Leadership.
The UI Lead must be able to inspire and motivate their team, provide guidance and feedback, and make decisions that align with the interest of the project and the team.
Technical Knowledge.
The UI Lead must have a strong understanding of the tools and technologies used in the project to ensure an effective and efficient implementation of the assets.
Effective Communication.
The UI Lead must be able to work well within a dynamic, cross-discipline, and iterative team environment by communicating effectively with their team and other teams to ensure that everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goals to ensure that all aspects of the project are working together seamlessly.
Time & resource Management.
The UI Lead must be able to manage their and the team's time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure that all deadlines are met.
It's a plus if you Have a strong understanding of User Experience in mobile video games.
Have experience with implementation of UI screens in a Unity-based game client.
Have a passion for games and strong knowledge of the mobile games industry.
