Description The Junior Supply Manager will join our lean operations team with a focus on supply chain management and logistics.
He/she will support all supply-related activities, such as procurement, tracking deliveries, quality checks, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
This role will be a great fit for an organized and motivated individual looking to grow within the company and expand the role as the business evolves.
The Junior Supply Manager will need to quickly adapt to the rapidly changing telecommunications and IT industry while managing supply chain processes in a lean team.
With our streamlined organizational structure,he/she will need to balance multiple tasks and take initiative to grow along with the position.
The incumbent will report directly to a Senior Manager and liaise with other department heads.
Responsibilities Support the implementation of procurement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Assist in managing relationships with suppliers, tracking contracts, prices, and timelines.
Help oversee order delivery and invoice approval processes to promote speedy and cost-effective procurement.
Work closely with the NDP project teams to anticipate demands and manage inventory.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities within the supply chain.
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
One to two years of experience in supply chain management or procurement roles.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with various levels within the organization.
Self-motivated and ambitious, with a desire to grow within the company.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Understanding of telecommunications and IT industry.
Experience with supply chain management tools and software.
