INTERNATIONAL TAX REPORTING & COMPLIANCE MANAGER (ASC 740)

Position ObjectiveTupperware Brands is seeking an International Corporate Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager to join its Tax Team, based in the Global Business Services (GCS) Group, Poland.This role is an integral part of the overall international tax compliance and reporting function. The role will have delegated locations whereby the successful candidate will complete quarterly and annual US GAAP taxation reporting. The candidate will work together with the finance teams and external compliance providers to meet the Country specific tax compliance obligations. The role will also support the EMEA Tax lead with effective taxation and transfer pricing compliance and planning.The Tupperware tax department is a fast-paced and this positon will provide a chance to grow a career and improve knowledge in a dynamic environment. Specific AccountabilitiesThe role will have assigned EMEA specific legal entities and in relation to these the responsibilities will include:Preparing/reviewing quarterly and annual foreign and/or domestic US GAAP (ASC 740) corporate income tax provisionsCo-ordination, facilitation and monitoring of external tax reporting requirements, including reporting and disclosures.Co-ordination of Corporate Tax compliance together with third party Compliance providers.Working together with the EMEA Tax lead to support sites with respect to any Tax Audits for the countries assigned. Gather and organize financial and tax documentation.Reviewing foreign return-to-provision templates, including local GAAP statutory financials and local country tax returnsAssisting in the maintenance of the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) tax risk controls and coordinating internal and external auditsAssist with maintaining intercompany contracts (e.g. product supply, royalty, services)Assist with Intercompany pricing and adjustment calculation and analysisCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as finance, legal, and business teams, external tax advisors or consultants, auditors, to address ad hoc tax-related inquiries and requests.Identifying and implementing process improvements for Tax Operations on a regular basisAssisting with other special Tax Planning as neededMaintain process documentation and support ongoing process transformation whilst ensuring adherence to controls and polices.Required Qualifications and ExperienceAt least 5+ years of relevant experience in either a public accounting and/or multinational corporation settingBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceUnderstanding of US GAAP (ASC 740) Income Tax Accounting (Mandatory Requirement).}Effective oral and written communication skillsDesired SkillsStrong tax accounting technical skillsEffective oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and project management skillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with other internal Finance departmentsAbility to analyse financial statements, general ledger accounts, and prepare supporting tax work papersAbility to research and interpret international income tax laws and regulationsTupperware Brands Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
