Key Responsibilities.
Drive innovation projects in the field of clean energy and sustainability, with a focus on new opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic direction.
Conduct techno-economic analyses to assess the potential of emerging technological solutions and their applicability across different operational environments.
Develop business cases that integrate technical feasibility, economic impact, and strategic alignment.
Clearly communicate the added value of initiatives using data-driven insights to support internal and external decision-making.
Coordinate relationships with consulting firms, technology centers, public administrations, and funding agencies in the company’s key geographies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of innovation into project planning and execution.
Requirements.
Degree in Industrial, Civil, or Mining Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading innovation projects, preferably in clean energy and sustainability-related environments.
Solid understanding of the energy transition sector and associated technologies.
Strong analytical skills to assess the economic and strategic value of innovative initiatives.
Previous experience working with public entities, technology centers, or funding programs within the innovation ecosystem will be considered a plus.
High level of English proficiency (C1 or above).
Interest in building a long-term professional career in Madrid or Austin.
