Your Role and Responsibilities IBM Technology Expert Labs is looking to cover several Infrastructure Delivery Consultant positions, with focus in some of the following areas.
Storage, Mainframe zSystems and IBM i / Power.
As an IBM Infrastructure Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals.
In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise IBM Infrastructure Solutions Expertise.
IBM Technology Expert Labs is looking for several positions, with expertice in the following areas.
Storage, zSystems and IBM i / Power.
If you have experience in any of the areas listed avobe, this is a good opportunity to join the IBM Technology Expert Labs team.
The knowledge for those areas are.
[Storage Delivery Consultant] Required.
- Candidate shound have, at least, one year of hands-on experience managing Storage solutions.
Including but not limited to Storage planning and desing, installation, configuration and management storage solutions.
- Strong Linux/Unix skills with experience in OS system administration, Storage Volume management, debugging, package manager (rpm and dpkg), user management, OS based permissions.
- Experience with NAS based solutions - Experience managing Broadcom or Cisco SAN solutions - Strong IP networking knowledge, from a concept point of view, like switching, routing, firewalls, proxy, vlan managing, etc.
(hands-on experience is not required).
- Fluent in english.
[zSystems Delivery Consultant] Required.
- Candidate should have at least 1 years of hands-on experience in z/OS or zVM - Fluent in english.
Optional.
- Candidate should have experience to install, upgrade, configuration and testing of IBM Z operating system, subsystem and related software - Candidate should have experience in planning and implementation reports and documentation - Candidate should have good understanding of z/OS high availability and Copy Services technology including Metro Mirror, Global Mirror and GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex) on z/OS - Candidate should have deep, hands-on skills in ONE or MORE of the following subject matter areas.
Networking, Storage, Security, CICS, Linux and WebSphere MQ Series - z/VM & zSecurity, RACF, Sysplex, DB2 plex, z/VM system programming & Linux on z Systems administration [IBM i / Power Delivery Consultant] Required.
- At least, one year hands on experience managing IBM i or Power AIX/Linux solutions.
- Experience with HMC console - Strong IP networking knowledge Optional.
- Experience with VIOS setup - Experience managing PowerVM - Experience with LPAR definitions - Experience with OS and Firmware upgrades - Experience with PowerHA - Experience with PowerVC - Fluent in english Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise IBM Infrastructure Solutions Expertise.
Knowledge in several areas, even when it is not required in order to apply for this position, will be a plus.
