INDIRECT TAX ANALYST

We are present in more than 130 countries, represented by more than 10,000 colleagues globally.Job Purpose:UPL is looking for a motivated and hands-on European Indirect Tax Analyst that will play a key role in the overall Tax function, partnering closely with the European Tax Manager (Line Manager). He/She will be in charge of VAT determination, compliance and reporting, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and contributing to improve the overall European Indirect Tax process towards consistency and standardization.Job Description:Timely and accurate filings of all VAT returns and payment’s due datesNecessary SAP data for VAT compliance and carefully reviewing and analyzing itMonthly VAT health-checks/reconciliations to ensure consistency and quality in data shared with third party tax advisorsMonitor the indirect tax compliance process for all the European entitiesIn tax audits and Tax Admin. requirements - compiling and preparing requested informationDay-to-day business indirect tax queries (closely interact and provide support to different stakeholders on VAT issues)Improving indirect tax processes and automationQualifications and Skills:4 years minimum of experience in a similar role or in a Big4/Law firm (Indirect Taxes)Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or LawPost-Graduate/Master’s degree in taxation is a definite plusKnowledge of European indirect taxes and regulationsAdvanced English, French would be a plusSAP experience is highly preferredHigh organizational capabilityAbility to take ownership and work independentlyStrong problem-solving skills, motivation, action oriented, driven for results, agility and proactivenessUPL offers:A dynamic and pleasant work environment, with lots of variation in your day-to-day activities.
