BBVA, SA What are we looking for? ABOUT YOU Requirements Six to ten years of relevant experience in Export & Agency finance deals or a comparable background in investment banking or other industry.
Proven experience in winning and executing large scale mandates and/or lead arranging positions.
Preferable knowledge and experience in ECA project finance structures.
Preferable some legal knowledge.
Business School/University degree in economics or business administration, law, or engineering.
Preferably international working experience.
Fluency in English and Spanish, other language advantageous (especially French) Personal.

In order to perform the duties of the position, it is essential to have valid Mifid certification.

OVERVIEW Responsibilities As part of the Origination & Execution team in Madrid, the successful candidate will be responsible for arranging, structuring and executing complex large-scale Export & Agency finance mandates (transactions covered by ECAs, Multilaterals and private insurers) with corporates, public sector entities and project finance structures.
The successful candidate will have principal responsibilities comprising the following.
Actively contributing to the origination and execution of Export & Agency finance mandates.
Taking on and handling projects autonomously.
Analysis of projects (feasibility, risks); identification of key issues and proposal of improvements to achieve successful financing.
Actively engage with ECAs, Multilaterals and private insures in the approval process.
Development of financing documentation (contracts) and management of insurance policies.
Negotiation with borrowers, exporters and financing institutions.
Collaboration with internal departments to originate and sign project.
Advice to the public and private sector; including optimization of "bankable" financing structures.
Collaboration to originate new operations.
Preparation of Information Memos and Lender Presentations for lead role opportunities and coordination of bank meetings.
