We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona.
Under the guidance of the Director of Rooms, the Housekeeping Manager is responsible for strategizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the housekeeping department.
Additionally, ensuring that the highest degree of quality is maintained at all times.

nsure all departmental service standards and sequences of service are being upheld.
ork collaboratively with all housekeeping partners on a day-to-day basis.
aintain a close relationship with the Front Office and Engineering Team.
nsure guest satisfaction - address guest issues as they arise and provide prompt correspondence if necessary.
eep control of daily financial reports, updating profit and loss for each month end.
ontrol departmental operating expenses and labor costs, improving departmental revenues when possible.
Monitor all labor and payroll costs.
eep controls of purchasing system(s).
bserve, teach and develop team members.
esponsible for all union communication (if applicable).
nsured all grounds are maintained to SLS standard of service and design.
Train and develop team to meet standards.
anage Capital Expenditure projects directed to housekeeping areas.
reate new initiatives to improve efficiency of guest standards and operational improvements.
stablish relationships with other companies in the hospitality industry.
QualificationsWhat were looking for...
inimum of five (5) years of housekeeping experience, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
revious experience with pre-opening of a hotel is a big plus.
