The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CMO/CDMO environments, drug management, clinical operations, clinical trial supply chain management, bid defense, contract agreement negotiation, customer management, and more. This senior-level position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in managing complex clinical trials while also excelling in commercial interactions.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and direct global clinical trial operations from planning to execution phase with a commercial perspective.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of activities including bid defense and contract negotiations.- Oversee CMO/CDMO relationships ensuring quality standards are met while also focusing on commercial agreements.- Manage drug development processes and timelines effectively while considering cost implications.- Optimize clinical trial supply chain strategies for efficiency and cost-effectiveness aligning with customer requirements.- Develop strong customer relationships through effective communication and management strategies.What your background should look like?Qualifications:- Advanced degree in life sciences or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.- Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical operations within the pharmaceutical industry with significant exposure to commercial aspects.- Proven expertise in CMO/CDMO engagement and successful contract negotiations.- Strong understanding of global drug development regulations coupled with commercial acumen.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels including customers.Preferred Skills:- Experience working in cross-functional teams emphasizing both operational excellence and commercial success.- Proficiency in project management tools and technologies enabling efficient bid defense and contract management processes.- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements aligned with customer needs while maintaining profitability.If you are a dynamic leader with a passion for advancing global clinical trials within a commercial context by effectively managing bids, contracts, and customer relationships, we invite you to apply for this challenging yet rewarding opportunity.
