SENIOR FULLSTACK ENGINEER

Marosa is a leading FinTech company based in Vigo, specialising in tax technology. Our mission is to simplify global VAT compliance for multinational companies through powerful and user-centric software.We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our growing engineering team. This is a senior-level position with ownership over features and technical decisions. You will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling modern web applications used by multinational clients.What You Will Do:Lead the development and maintenance of robust web applications using Java Spring Boot (backend) and Angular (frontend).Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define and deliver high-impact features.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and provide thoughtful code reviews.Solve complex technical challenges from architecture through to deployment and monitoring.Drive improvements in engineering standards, tooling, and processes.Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.What We Are Looking For:At least 4 years of professional experience building fullstack applications using Java and Angular.Strong understanding of REST APIs, scalable backend architecture, and modern front-end development practices.Proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.Interest in continuous learning and improving both individual and team performance.Bonus: Experience with Docker, CI/CD tools, or cloud-native environments.Why Join Us?Build real-world FinTech products that solve complex problems for global enterprises.Join a collaborative and ambitious team where your input will directly shape the product.Develop your skills through exposure to modern technologies and experienced colleagues.Thrive in a culture that values ownership, growth, and impact.Enjoy great perks, including a fully stocked kitchen with snacks and a Metropolitan gym membership.If you are ready to kick-start your fullstack development career and work on products used by multinational companies, we would love to meet you!
