As a Fleet Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vehicle fleet and hubs. You will lead a team responsible for ensuring that vehicles are ready for clients by the field teams and workshops, managing fleet expansion, ensuring operational efficiency across all hubs and through seasonality, as well as acting as liaison with suppliers and cost control.You will lead one of the most relevant areas in the operations, the incident management team, to ensure that car repairs and maintenance are being taken care in optimal timing and costs. Acting as the main contact point with the internal after sales department and the workshop network, you should be able to track metrics and processes to improve operational efficiency. You will monitor the demands trends and vehicle type availability between locations and create reports to enable and support management in fleet allocation decisions. You will work closely with other Astara departments in order to perform your role, being the most significant one, the finance department to validate invoices, repairs cost deviations, and collaborate in the creation of budgets and forecasts.MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:Lead and motivate the Ops Team to ensure the timely preparation and maintenance of subscription vehicles.Develop and implement processes for tracking key metrics, including vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules and customer satisfaction.Ensure performance from workshops and other repair suppliers to meet agreed service levels and review interventions’ costs to improve profitability.Generate regular reports on fleet performance and provide insights to drive operational improvements.Collaborate with the Country Operations Lead to develop and implement strategies for fleet expansion, including the catalogue management, balancing stock between locations.Monitor hubs equipment evolution and equip, when necessary, with the resources and materials needed to ease smooth operations.Act as a liaison between the operations team and other departments to address issues and optimize processes.Continuously assess and improve operational workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:You are a results-driven individual with a passion for operations management and a desire to drive excellence.
