FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

This role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a company's finances. The postholder will be responsible for all accounting functions and bookkeeping.The postholder will be an experienced Controller, who will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Manage all aspects of the financial function within our Company, Control and manage the processing of all incoming invoicing. Ensure all processes and procedures documented, maintained and complied with.Creation of periodic and specific reports for Group purpose Manage cash-flow, develop cash forecasting and oversight of cash collections. Oversight on outgoing invoicing. Assistance to the Companies management in achieving the Companies targets by providing active support and dedicated information with regard to Companies actual performance, deviations from budget / forecast / previous year figures;Critical analysis of sales margins and KPIs;Complete all mandatory reporting. Manage cash-flow and oversight of cash collections. Oversight of banking facilities of the entities and manage working capital. Oversight of matching of invoicing to delivery documentation. Oversight of reconciliation supplier statements and outgoing statements. Oversight of stocktaking.Prepare accurate accounts and prepare for and assist in audits in a timely fashion. Oversight of all aspects of tax, VAT for both imports and exports and process all tax documentation in an accurate and timely fashion. Oversight of payroll both weekly and monthly.Assistance with Insurance policies, utilities, etc.Oversee and manage all budgeting and forecasting processes.Any other duties deemed necessary by management. Cooperation with external advisors to ensure compliance with all necessary legislations;Managing all the external audits, being also in charge that all the recommendations issued are properly implemented.LOCATIONThis position is located at Getafe/MadridKey SkillsWith high attention to detail in administrationBusiness acumenOrganizational skills.Communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesRequested Profile Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fieldAt least 3/5 years work experience in accounting / controlling department or in external audit firmsEnglish language is mandatoryOffice strong knowledge (Excel in particular)To learn and take on additional responsibilitiesInterpersonal and communication skillsAnalytic, organization and problem solving skillsPersonal AttributesTrue people personDriven individual with a desire to succeed.‘Can do’ attitude.
