FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOwnership of the month end close and reporting cycle of eCu Global, this includes: o Execute accurate general ledger entries in accounting software, payment processing and recording financial transactions while adhering to internal controls o  Managing debtors and creditors ledger and dealing with any queries regarding payments or receipts o  Managing the fixed assets register (including depreciation, impairments, abatements, etc) o  Month end adjustments such as IFRS 16 leases, accruals, prepayments, taxes o  Perform the Company’s billing, remittance and collection responsibilities, including arrangement for payments of invoice o  GL maintenancePreparation and review of month end balance sheet reconciliationso  Bank and cash accountso  Debtors and creditorso  Accruals and prepaymentso  Other payables and receivables (e.g. VAT receivables, deferred tax)o  Leaseso  Fixed assetso  Debt liabilitieso  Other accountsPreparation of monthly management accounts and prepare commentary for senior managementPreparation of board reports monthly, quarterly and annuallyReview of work prepared by on-shore accountantSupport the development of any annual and periodic budget, forecasting including cash flow and associated financial analysis activitiesPreparation of the annual financial statements and related disclosures, and working closely with auditors during the year end audit processSupport the accurate and timely preparation of information required by our tax advisors for the preparation of VAT, Corporate Tax and any other tax returns .Ensuring that reporting is compliant with IFRS and keeping up to date with new reporting standards that may impact the companyEstablishing, implementing and monitoring the company’s finance and accounting policies and proceduresDriving continuous process improvement to ensure that all reporting is conducted efficiently and to the highest standardAd hoc tasks and reporting to support senior management requirements, as necessary as well as assisting department heads with day to day finance management of the businessManage payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with tax regulationsEnsure adherence to loan lender's requirements and covenants, including timely reporting and proactive communicationEfficiently reconcile and manage employee expense submissions, ensuring adherence to company policies and timely reimbursementReview and understand management agreements ensuring compliance with any financial requirements
