Experienced Business Developer for Quantitative Investment FirmWho We AreCausality Group is an investment manager with operations in Madrid, New York and Zug. We invest in our hedge fund and proprietary vehicles.Over the six years of live trading, we have realized an average annual profit of 19.3% in our long/short market-neutral portfolio of US liquid equities. We are looking forward to increasing our assets under management (AUM), brand awareness, and reach in the B2B market.We develop quantitative investment methods based on a combination of factor modeling and machine learning, and invest through our fully automated electronic trade execution systems.Candidate & RoleThe ideal candidate will hold an M.Sc. in Economics, Quantitative Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field. They should have experience in B2B business development, branding, C-level communication, and connections at investment firms, family offices, or wealth management firms.While the primary purpose of the role is to increase B2B deal flow, management of client relationships is also covered.RemunerationBase salary and benefitsPerformance dependent bonusPreferred AttributesGood B2B and C-level communicatorExperience in capital introduction for quantitative investing and firm equityExperience in financial advisory at wealth managementExperience in B2B platforms as Morningstar, Preqin, LinkedIn, SalesNavigator, FundBaseExperience in brand awarenessAbility to analyze and interpret live trading results towards investorsSupportWe will introduce you to existing client relationships, offer an investor database, and provide all tools necessary for efficient business development, such as a travel budget and further subscriptions.Job Type and LocationThe company has its main office in Madrid, on Plaza de España, with additional entities in New York and Zug (Switzerland).
