ENGINEERING MANAGER

Por qué te necesitamos? The Engineering Manager will lead the Process Engineering Operations for the Hagerstown Maryland facility.
This position will be responsible for managing the design, development, qualification and documentation of new tooling, production processes, materials, and equipment for the Siding department.
Also responsible for statistically defining the variation in our existing manufacturing processes and developing systems to reduce the variation so our processes are statistically capable (3 Cpk), standardized and well documented.
Always support a safe working environment in area of responsibility.
Correct or report unsafe acts or conditions through appropriate channels of resolution.
Duties.
Supervision Manage the Process Engineering Department.
Supervising department personnel (Tool Designers, Process Technicians, Die Mechanic, Sr.
MFG Process Engineer and MFG Process Engineer), processing jobs, scheduling resources and budget development and adherence.
Provide direct Process Engineering support to the Siding and Blending departments Risk Management Investigate new processes, technologies and equipment to ensure that CertainTeed is utilizing the most effective tools available to meet and exceed their manufacturing goals.
Use proven SPC/SQC tools to determine and minimize process variation, while improving productivity.
Continuous Improvement Support root cause analysis efforts to drive continuous improvement.
Determine where and how the process failed, define corrective actions, and complete action items to improve process capability Participate in SPG Interplant Teams, such as, “Accessory Improvement” team and the “New Product/Colors” team and on internal Hagerstown Plant teams like the “IE Pillar” team and the “Q&PC Pillar” team These teams are responsible for providing process standardization throughout the group and within the Hagerstown Plant     ¿Es este trabajo para ti?
