DIGITAL DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST_

Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VOIS) and we’re looking for a     Digital Data Management Specialist     Your role in a nutshell.
The Data & Analytics team provides high quality data management solutions enabling the delivery of digital dashboards to support top management decisions across Vodafone Group functions (HR, Commercial, Technology, Finance and Enterprise operations).
Working in agile projects development in collaboration with project managers, IT developers and finance reporting teams to ensure the development and maintenance of complex database solution (MS SQL and Cloud based data warehouse) to enable digital reporting.
What you will do in your role.
Provides end to end data governance to support reporting process of ExCo and management reporting  Review and approve system change request.
Manage the data warehouses by implementing system updates and ensuring data flow.
Implement complex metadata changes and review CoA structure highlighting potential risk Works with Group Reporting on IT environment and security changes.
Maintain & run SQL queries on ongoing basis Support design & deployment of the data modelling in Oracle / MS SQL / PL SQL Manage collection of offline data, making sure that the timetable is met by local markets, providing them support on queries regarding the process or content Maintain MS Access / Excel front end solutions for data collection to feed into SQL / Essbase based DWH Develop and run automated reconciliation processes to ensure data quality Run & maintain VBA coding based solutions for automation purposes  Initiate process improvements on technical development side / support execution in Oracle/ MS SQL / PL SQL platforms Executes process mapping and end-to-end process assessment to identify real issues and root causes.
Support new data warehouse implementation/development projects Understand the connections & potential efficiencies of local DW solutions vs.
Group D&A strategical projects Provide technical and / or data SME support for SI and VF Group central teams  Strong cooperation with other _VOIS organizations and functions.
Occasionally acting as project manager.
Support the trainings to new members of the reporting team, shares knowledge and best practices.
Get involved and add ideas to process improvement initiatives.
What will you bring to the team.
2-5 years of experience in related fields Experience with database management including SQL, experience with Hyperion, Essbase and Cloud based DW Good understanding of BI and Analytics technology and techniques including knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools  Database development in Oracle SQL / MS SQL / PL SQL (advantage) Advanced Microsoft program skills (MsExcel, MS Access,)  Financial and reporting knowledge Visual basic knowledge (VBA) (advantage) Telecom experience (advantage)  Experience in working with Agile development and methods in cross functional organization and across different locations Proactive involvement Fluent English C Good communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders  Excellent problem-solving skills  Ability to drive agreed changes Project management skills Accuracy, attention to detail In return we provide you with.
