DEPUTY MANAGER - MANUFACTURING ENGG

The Deputy Manager - Manufacturing will design and develop new processes, equipment’s required for manufacturing new products in line with BorgWarner standards and customer timelines.
Develop new facilities and new equipment to meet the increase in existing customer demand.
Work with the global team on developing new processes and technology for the next generation of products.
Development of new processes, tooling, and equipment required for manufacturing new products with robust process controls in line with program timelines.
Need to have knowledge of Electronic Controls and Machine Programming  Need to have knowledge of products manufacturing like engine components, should be able to learn/Understand our products and develop the process requirements Responsible for conducting manufacturing feasibility assessment, provide capital requirement on new RFQs by coordinating with cross functional team and global team through MSO review.
Process planning of new equipment and facilities required to meet LRP volumes and increased customer demands.
Adherence of forecasted capital and tooling spending as per planned.
Develop new equipment as per BorgWarner standards, install, conduct runoff trials, monitor results hand hold till proving the results and handover.
Develop new technology process based on DMS products strategy with global support.
Responsible for Improving current process to global standards in terms of productivity, Scrap/PPM, Safety, Poka yoke controls, Process capability Extend technical support for production and quality on Critical line stoppages and Customer complaint issues.
Will be responsible for Driving ways and means to improve the competitiveness of team members by training and job allocations.
Should be able to develop documentation requirement in the complete process, drive periodic review and Update regularly Core Tool Exposures such as Flow diagram, FMEA/ MSA/Work instructions/SPC/PDCA/ Control Chart / QC tools / 5 Why / 3W1H / 8D/Cause & effect diagram / Pareto Chart Must have knowledge on Cycle time Study, OEE, Line balancing, SMED, Kanban, lean basics.
